Are you ready to use your time to change your life? Because I'm going to show you how you can take advantage of your time and produce a rewarding future for yourself. And as you are listening, I want you to take notes and follow along with what I'm saying. Now before you can use your time to change your life, the most important thing you must do is to decide.

Decide to make a change

Decide that you're going to be intentional with how you use your time from now on from now onwards. Decide that you are going to make the consistent effort, the consistent intention towards producing a life for yourself that is better than the current state that you're already in. And let's face it. Many people in the world want nice things and want to live a good life, but not everyone is willing to do what it takes to get what they desire. And there's a difference between dreaming and doing.

Many people, they can dream about something. They can dream about having a nicer body. They can dream about having lots of money or making lots of money. Some people, they can dream about traveling the world or they can dream about achieving a particular desire. But how many of those people who dream about those things actually make the make the initiative to do what it takes to get to what to get what it is that they desire?

How many people dream about something but actually make the conscious and consistent actions towards achieving what it is that they desire? Imagine there's two people, person a and person b. Both person a and person b want to make a thousand dollars or a thousand pounds, but person a only dreams about making a thousand dollars or a thousand pounds, but person b actually makes the decision to read books. They make the decision to learn about real estate, learn about investing, learning about different streams of income that will give them the opportunity to reach that objective, to reach that goal of achieving a thousand dollars or a thousand pounds. Person b decides that when they wake up every morning, they're gonna make the conscious effort, the consistent effort towards building that future for themselves to where they will make a thousand pounds or a thousand dollars.

And even as they are making the conscious decision towards towards achieving a thousand pounds or a thousand dollars, As they are learning, they they are actually able to pick up even more skills apart from making lots of money. They are able to pick up communication skills because when they learn about different ways to make money, they learn that one of the ways they can make money is being a better communicator, such as, being a good counselor, being a good public speaker, being good at making podcasts like what I'm doing right now. They can learn about different skills that will take them to that point of reaching a thousand dollars or a thousand pounds. And that's the that's one of the main differences between many people many people of today's society. You have to make the conscious decision to use your time to change your life and produce a better life for yourself.

Make your future self proud. Make your loved ones, your family, your friends proud, and most importantly, making God proud because God created you for a purpose. God created you to fulfill an assignment on this earth. So if you haven't made the decision to do better for yourself, how are you gonna be able to achieve that purpose, that assignment that God has given you upon this earth to fulfill? And you don't wanna wake up one day wishing that you made the right decision for your future.

So the first thing you must do is to decide. Now, the second thing you must do to use your time and change your life is to

Make sacrifices

And you and I have twenty four hours in a day, and so does everyone else. But the sacrifice you make when no one is watching is what will set you apart from those who didn't make sacrifices. So, let's say, for example, when you think about athletes, many athletes, when you see them on the field playing basketball games or running races in the Olympics or whatever sport that they're playing in, you will see that what they're doing, it looks so effortless.

It looks like that they were they it looks like they were born natural at what they do, but you didn't see the sacrifices that they made behind closed doors. You didn't see the hours those athletes spent towards practicing and preparing behind closed doors so that when they did what they do in public, whether it's playing golf, whether it's playing basketball, whether it's running a marathon, or running or doing a sprint, what they did behind closed doors, the sacrifices that they made behind closed doors makes what they look in public look so effortless. And in the Bible, in the book of Ecclesiastes, in Ecclesiastes 11 verse six, the verse says, in the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening, withhold not thine hand. For thou knowest not whether thou whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they or whether they both shall be alike good. And the reason why I'm referring to this verse in the bible, the the phrase, withhold not thy hand, in other words, it means do not let your hands be idle.

So when you are using your time to change your life, by making sacrifices, you will dedicate extra time towards achieving better for yourself. So let's say, for example, you have a part time job working in a restaurant or working in a shop, whatever shop that may be. You work in a shop, but when you come home from working in the shop or working in a restaurant, you spend time towards learning a skill. You read books, You watch YouTube videos to learn a new skill so that when you have when you have when you have reached the level of mastery, when you have mastered that skill, when you have practiced and prepared behind closed doors through making that sacrifice towards spending extra time towards learning something that will benefit yourself in future. When an opportunity presents itself now, because you have prepared yourself behind closed doors, and because you have made the constant decision towards practicing and preparing even when nobody was watching, when a new opportunity presents itself and you are able to use that new skill that you have done behind closed doors, when that opportunity presents itself, you will take advantage of it.

And when most people come home from work or from school, they often spend time watching shows or movies. They often spend time going out with friends or doing something to take their mind away from their labor. And I'm not saying that doing those things are bad, but a lot of people, they do those sorts of things. They watch shows, movies, TV shows. They, go out with friends, or they spend time browsing the Internet, doing shopping, or whatever far more than they do investing in themselves or making time towards bettering themselves for the future.

So when you decide to use your time to make temporary sacrifices, you will end up producing long term results and put yourself in a position to take an opportunity that will change your life or that will take you through that journey towards changing your life. Because if you fail to plan, then that means that you plan to fail. So the second thing that you would do to change your life is to make sacrifices. And now the third way you can use your time to change your life is to

Avoid distractions

And similar to the second point about making sacrifices, you need to avoid distractions while you're on the journey to transforming your life because there is nothing wrong with taking time to rest or there's nothing wrong with taking time to relax and have fun with friends as I've mentioned in the previous points.

But many people mix resting with distracting. And if you spend more time distracting yourself than investing in yourself, your future self will have to pay for it. Because many people, they like they like instant gratification more than delayed gratification. They want they want instant gratification. They wanna have fun now.

They wanna enjoy their life now. They wanna do the best things now. But when you focus on delayed gratification, you know that even though I'm not spending time towards watching shows or movies, even though I'm not spending time towards going out with friends every weekend. You know that you are you are delaying that gratification because you know that when you are dedicating your time towards something that is gonna benefit you in future, you can you can worry about going out with friends in future. You know?

You can worry about those things later. Because whether you decide to make sacrifices or not, whether you decide towards investing in yourself or not, the time is gonna go by anyway. The time is gonna go by anyway. So whether you decide towards investing in yourself or distracting yourself, whatever decision you make, the time is gonna go by anyway. So if you decide that you're gonna dedicate two to three years towards investing in yourself and avoiding distractions so that you can have a better future for yourself and you can be a blessing to those around you, and you can be a blessing to other people, and even help other people who are in the position that you're currently in, and they wanna get to the position that you are gonna go to.

When you make that decision and make that sacrifice, you will reap the benefits. And the good things you do today will take you to your tomorrow, and the bad things you do today will take you to your tomorrow. So it's up to you to decide whether or not you wanna continue, distracting yourself or if you wanna make the decision to invest more in yourself. Invest in reading books. Invest in your health.

Invest in learning a skill that will be profitable. Even if you have even if there's something that you're already doing, like the example that I gave about working in a shop or working in a restaurant. When you come home, take that time towards learning a new skill. Take that time towards learning about real estate. Take that time towards learning about how to better your finances.

Take that time when you come home from work or if you're if you're listening to this and you're a student, when you come home from school or the days that you're not going to college, the days that you're not going to university, take that time towards, practicing a skill so that when you have become a master of that skill and an opportunity presents itself for you to showcase what you've done behind closed doors, it will it will give you the leverage for you to go on in life and do better for yourself. And that is the second thing you can do to use your time and change your life. And now the third way you can use your time to change your life is to use your current circumstances to your advantage. And you're probably thinking, what do you mean use your current circumstances to your advantage? I mean, when you have gone through something that is so painful or something that you don't wanna go through anymore, you will use that as the drive to make you change your life and be intentional with living in a better place.

So let's say, for example, you're not in good shape. And because you're not in good shape, you have short of breath, you probably have to take different medications because you're you're not in good you don't have good health. Maybe you have to be visiting the hospital in and out, in and out to have to get different checkups. Maybe because you're not in good shape, you have different health complications. And because you have gone through that for a certain amount of time, you will make the decision that you will start going to the gym.

You will make the decision to go to the gym consistently. You will make the decision to eat healthier, to drink more water, to stop eating certain foods that are contributing to you having bad health. That is an example of what I mean when I say using your current circumstance to your advantage. Because when you have gone through a particular situation that isn't pleasant and you know you don't wanna deal with that anymore, or you don't wanna continue living that kind of life, because when you know that you have bad health and you are continuing to eat foods that contribute to you having bad health, when you refuse to, exercise or refuse to keep your body active, you know that you're gonna end up cutting your life short. And when you know you don't wanna do that because you wanna live long to spend time with your friends and family, If you are listening to this and you have children, you have a wife or you have a husband, you wanna live long so that you can spend time with them and take care of your children, take care of your husband, take care of your wife, take care of those around you.

You will make the effort and the constant decision and intention towards living a healthier lifestyle, doing better to have to have a healthier body. When you decide to use your current circumstance to your advantage and when you decide to make a change, when you make temporary sacrifices for long term gains, and when you invest in yourself more than you entertain or distract yourself, then congratulations. You have stepped into the arena of success because you will find that when you have done these things over a period of time, you have used your time to change your life. And now, not only can you benefit yourself, but you can also benefit others around you. And I hope what I've taught you has helped, and stay tuned for the next teaching.

Take care now. Bye.
